About this role
This is a permanent, full-time position with a logistics employer in Jurong West. The working week runs Monday to Saturday on a rotating shift, and most routes are planned to finish inside standard operating hours.
Responsibilities
- Plan and complete the day's delivery route, typically 15 to 25 stops across Singapore.
- Load, secure and check goods against the delivery orders before leaving the warehouse.
- Collect payment or signed acknowledgement where a delivery requires it.
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fuelled and roadworthy, and report defects immediately.
- Handle returns, exchange requests and rejected items according to procedure.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and hand the day's paperwork back to the warehouse.
Requirements
- A valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence with a good driving record.
- At least one year of delivery or dispatch driving experience in Singapore.
- Familiarity with Singapore roads and the use of a navigation app.
- Able to carry items up to 20 kg and to work in a warehouse or outdoor environment.
- Basic spoken and written English for delivery notes and customer handovers.
- Able to work a rotating shift including some Saturdays.
