About this role
This is a permanent, full-time hospitality position in the Kallang / Whampoa area, working a five-day roster that includes evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks to standard recipes.
- Take orders at the bar, manage tabs and process payments accurately.
- Keep the bar, glassware and equipment clean, stocked and ready for service.
- Monitor stock levels, record wastage and flag reorders before items run out.
- Check identification and refuse service where the law requires it.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and responsible-service requirements.
Requirements
- At least one year of bartending experience in a bar, restaurant or hotel.
- Working knowledge of classic cocktails and standard bar equipment.
- Able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays on a shift roster.
- Able to stand for long periods and to lift cases of stock.
- Responsible-service or basic food hygiene certification is an advantage.
- Friendly, composed and dependable when the bar is busy.
What we offer
- Basic salary of $2,200 to $2,800 per month, depending on experience.
